Ruckus ICX and FortiSwitch STP compatibility

Wondering if anyone has had any experience with the topic above. I have a current environment with fortilink managed switching in MCLAG with a LACP connection to a single Ruckus switch. I'm running into some interesting STP issues where my ICLs are being blocked when connecting to the Ruckus switch. Ruckus switch is running per VLAN RSTP and I'm not sure on the interoperability here with Fortinet's MST. Assuming that my MCLAG configuration is correct (lldp profiles, stp-aware, etc...) is there some other gotcha that I should be looking for specifically with Ruckus?

Yo ! Also this configured on your trunk or not ?

config switch interface

edit "trunk1"

set allowed-vlans 10,20

set rpvst-port enabled

next

end

Note: A maximum of 16 VLANs is supported; the maximum number of VLANs includes native VLANs. You must configure the same VLANs as those used in the RPVST+ domain.

That was the route that I was looking to go down but I'm not familiar with Ruckus and kinda looked at it sideways when I saw that it was actually running per VLAN RSTP as opposed to MST or straight RSTP.

Unfortunately, the "set rpvst-port enabled" command did not do the trick. FortiSwitch links to the Ruckus still go into a Learn>Forward>Discard state rapidly. The only thing that brings the link up is disabling STP on the FortiSwitch Trunk or removing VLANs (with a lower priority on the Ruckus side) from the allowed-tagged VLANs from the Fortinet Trunk.
