Robin Doorbel and a yealink T58A business phone

I have a yaelink T58A business phone and a Robin Doorbell with a cam in it (h264).

If the doorbell calls the phone and answer it, i can see the cam but it is inmeddiatly freeze. Talking is no problem.

I take the phone to my home and test it on a draytek system. If i call de doorbell it sees without isues the cam.

So it must be something in my fortigate network.

I have a fortigate 60E with 7.2.2 (older version was also not working)

And a fortigate 248 switch also with 7.2.2 (older version was also not working)

Anybody an idea?

Hi Dennis,

try to add Multicast policies and simplify the firewall policies you have, by removing security profiles.

You can trace packets from either node with a packet capture

diag sniff packet any 'host <ip>' 4 0 a

And then you test that situation again. You will see packets on the inbound interface, you should see packets on the outbound interface as well. A packet is seen minimum twice.

If you only see a packet inbound but not outbound, check why that would be happening.

Best regards,

Markus
