Hello,
I know that exists 2 modes that are loose or strict but I didn't understand the differences between them.
Thanks,
Nominating a forum post submits a request to create a new Knowledge Article based on the forum post topic. Please ensure your nomination includes a solution within the reply.
Loose RPF checks that the sender can be routed out from the interface where the packet was received. This simply confirms that a response is possible.
Strict RPF requires that the receiving interface is not only valid, but that it is also the best interface for the reply. If you have multiple routes, it must be the preferred one.
Dear Tom, do you have any material on RPF? Thank you for your attention.
