Hi All,
I am new to Fortigate, when I logged in to the GUI recently, and I saw that Forticare period is about to expire
but it also shows in Hardware version: return to factory and I did not understand what that means
if I did not renew before expiration, will I be able to keep using the device?
my device is 40F

That's the level of RMA your are entitled.

The most basic one requires you to send your faulty device back first, then you receive a replacement. ("return and replace")

The better ones will have you receive the replacement device first, with varying levels of swiftness, and you send back the faulty device later. ("Advanced RMA/replacement")
