Restricted call announcement - FortiVoice v7.2.1

I have configured call restriction profiles for certain extensions, and it works correctly. However, I need to change the default audio file that indicates "no permissions and please contact the administrator" to another language (Spanish). I've already preloaded an audio file in Spanish, but I can't find the option to associate it with the call restriction. Has anyone experienced the same situation?

Hello again,

I found this solution. Can you tell me if it helps, please?

To change the default audio file for call restrictions to another language, follow these steps:

  1. Access Phone System Audio Settings: Navigate to the Phone System > Audio > Prompt section in your FortiVoice system.

  2. Locate the Preloaded Audio File: Ensure that your Spanish audio file is correctly uploaded and has a unique File ID.

  3. Assign the Audio File to Call Restrictions:
    - Go to the section where call restrictions are configured.
    - Look for an option to set or change the audio prompt associated with call restrictions.
    - Select the Spanish audio file from the list of available prompts.

  4. Verify Language Settings: Ensure that the language settings for the auto attendant or call handling are set to Spanish, so the correct audio file is played.

  5. Test the Configuration: Make a test call to verify that the Spanish audio file plays when a restricted call is attempted.

If you cannot find the option to associate the audio file directly with call restrictions, you may need to consult the FortiVoice documentation or contact Fortinet support for further assistance.

Thank you for your response. I have already tried that approach — in fact, I preloaded the Spanish audio file in the Prompts section. However, there is no way to associate it with the message that is played when a call restriction is triggered. Additionally, I reviewed the built-in system prompts, and the default audio file that is played when a user attempts to dial a restricted number does not appear to be listed among them.
