Reset ipsec statistics

Hello, I' m running FortiOS 4.2.8 on a FG310B-Cluster (A-P). With " get vpn status ipsec" I get some very usefull statistics. After implementing changes to my config I want to verify the reults. How do I reset the statistics? Sincerely Harald

In FortiOS 4.x.x GUI you can do it here: VPN - Monitor - IPsec Monitor - in the end of the row it is a arrow that can resett the statistic.

No, that doesn' t work. My guess: reset only via reboot.

Hunch Since the fortigateOS is really unix underneath, could you not diagnose sys kill the process that controls vpn & ike daemon? That would be less hard than rebooting to get new status. It would probably tear down any established vpns, but out side of that, I don' t know how you could reset the stats. OP, curious, why do you need to reset the the stats, can' t you record what/where they are at and then just monitor from that point. Trying to figure out why clearing of the stats would be helpfull.
