Reset fortgate 100 to factory settings

I have locked up a fortigate 100 firewall device and I need to know how to reset it without logging on to the device. Thanks for any advice.

If you want, you could even do the same steps UKWizard outlined with the console cable and then edit the network interface from the command line console connection to allow your GUI connection and do the rest from a browser. to do that: conf sys admin edit [username] (press tab for a list) set trusthost1 [your PCs IP adress] [subnet mask] end conf sys interface edit [interface your PC attaches through] set allowaccess https end exit
