Hi! we are having problems removing old clients from EMS. The clients keeps reappearing under group "Other Endpoints". Is there any way of sending commands to clients without using uninstall package or manually uninstalling them from the client PC.
What we are doing is: unregister, mark as installed, exclude from management, delete device.
From "Other endpoints", can you unmanage it and then delete it ?
Hello msrtn,
Before we had issues with duplicated endpoints, so if on older versions, first try to upgrade and after deleting duplicates.
We always recommend to backup the EMS database or vm snapshot in case of reversion is needed.
Please refer to this in case they need to upgrade older FCT versions

Nagaraju.
I just tried 1. "Exclude from Management" 2."Deregister" 3. "Delete Device" on three devices.
one reappeared 1minutes later. The other two seems to be gone.
Tried Exclude and then Delete device one the one that reappeared and it seems to be gone now.
I will wait a few hours to make sure it does´nt reappear.
Not sure what the exact correct steps are though. Either I am doing the wrong steps/wrong order or it feels like you just have to do it a couple of times on each client. Just can´t figure out the logic with why it reappears sometimes.
Are these getting synced from an AD?
No AD-sync or automated deployment package.
