Registering a Fortigate to a partener account

Hello,

I have two accounts tied to this email: one I made for posting on the forum, and one partener made by the company later on. If I register a Fortigate to this email account, can I select then "where will it go"? It needs to be seen by the others.

Register it with the owner account, then you can allow other accounts to see it, open tickets for it, and so.

The permissions and partner accounts are configured, also this is not the first device being added.

And one thing I should mention, the procedure is actually ownership transfer. Up until now we did the registrations from the webpage without problems.

For ownership transfer you need to open CS ticket, or just send a mail to cs@fortinet.com.

The mail should be sent from the mail box of the account that owns the FG.

From what I saw you can actually do this straight from the Fortigate GUI interface. You just have to put the credentials for both accounts. However I still have my concerns about the procedure. If I use my email address will the ownership go to the sub account that is part of the organisation?

This is called ownership transfer.  So you have to work with our CS team for it.
