Reg:Youtube blocking

Hi Friends,

               We are using in our environment Fortigate 200D with v5.0,build3608 (GA Patch 7).As per our policy all streaming links are blocked .I want to know one thing that,is it possible to allow study material videos only through you tube?

Not sure about this in 5.0.x

5.2.x uses a Youtoube education filter wich you can configure (you have to register in Youtoube for it first) and there you can subscribe to different channels that would be presented.

In FortiOS you'll find it under you webfilter profile, enable the safe search, there you can put in the youtoube education account.

Take a look at the "setting up YouTube for Education" material, pdf doc is here, video walk-through is here.  One thing to keep in mind about this solution is it requires SSL/SSH Inspection (aka deep inspection), so unless you have a custom or Fortinet security certificate installed on the workstation you will get a warning message about the security certificate.
