Hi all,
Just a simple question; I'm trying to redistribute a BGP-learned default router into OSPF on a Fortigate 300D, but this does not seem to be possible. Any other non-default BGP-learned routes as present in the routing table are redistributed just fine into OSPF, only the default route isn't. Is this expected behaviour?
Please note that this is not my preferred way of redistributing a default route throughout the network, but it is an option I simply have to explore. All I'm trying to to is get an explanation for the behaviour I'm experiencing.

Hi Remco,
That is the default behaviour. If you would like to advertise default routes in OSPF, please enable as below.
config router ospf (ospf) # set default-information-originate enabled
(ospf) #end
