Redirect many sites to one site

Hello,

we have a requirement to redirect a number of sites - 60+ sites to a single website. How can I do this in the FortiGate console/command line? We are running 5.6.4 of the software.

Thanks,

Paul

1st the  Fortigate is not an application load balancer

It has a load-balancerfunction  but you need to get a real loadbalancer like a FortiWeb, F5-LT, NetScaler. Have you study the loadbalance functions

Do you need HTTP and HTTPS ?

So far my quick internet searches found no solution with FortiGate, but seems to require an external proxy server. Wait what others have to say about it.

If you control the DNS they are using, you could 'hijack' the DNS records and point them to where you want them to go. This is outside the Fortinet scope, but is an option.

Hi Paul.

As you can see from the various responses, we can interpreter your request in a number of ways - perhaps you could give us the reason or purpose of directing so many sites to a single site.
