Hi Team ,

Please check the below steps:

1. Check Physical network cables and connections between the primary and secondary units are secure and functioning properly. A loose or faulty cable can cause disconnections.

2. Monitor Heartbeat Interfaces to Verify that the heartbeat interfaces are isolated from user networks to prevent interference. If not possible, ensure heartbeat message encryption is enabled.

3. Review Event Logs Check the event logs on both the primary and secondary units for any error messages or alerts that might indicate the cause of the disconnection.

4. Network Configuration Ensure that the network configuration is correct and that there are no IP conflicts or misconfigurations that could lead to disconnections.

5. Failover Configuration Verify that the HA configuration is set up correctly, including the priority settings and monitored interfaces.

6. Use Alerts Set up SNMP, syslog, or email alerts to monitor the cluster for failover messages

7. Test HA Setup Conduct a thorough test of the HA setup to ensure that failover and synchronization are working as expected.

Hello, thank you,

I have already checked. and what is surprising, it's the fact that everything was working fine, and I reload the configuration into the fortigate (so same configuration) and now I have this issue.
