Hi,
RPS stands for the Redundant Power Supply.
Fortigate 100E has a DC input along with the AC input.
Basically, you have power on the Fortigate using AC(via main PSU) and DC(via RPS) in order to have a redundant power supply.
When it comes to "RPS LOST" messages, that simply means that the Fortigate is not powered via RPS which is I believe is your case.

How do I disable the alert if I'm not using the RPS?
