Proxy settings on Forticlient

Dear all,

my issue is exactly the same as this thread : https://forum.fortinet.com/tm.aspx?m=111906.

I need to tell forticlient to use a proxy setting to reach the remote gateway. Checking the resolution on the above thread, it says to export configuration, manually edit the xml and import it back.

I've done it but it would seems though forticlient proxy settings doesn't seems to apply.

I exported my configuration, edited it as follow : (most fields where added automatically, I only edited the proxy server, it doesn't require authentication but username and password are always edited back to the below value)

        <proxy> <update>0</update> <online_scep>0</online_scep> <type>http</type>
10.57.xx.xxx
             <port>3128</port> <username> Enc bcd76a7e50f5c9cb715b01272b92297a5dc45b72bf4013be </username> <password> Enc f9d53b1f636f3e6e10173346c34a2b9a79716a6d7de54143 </password> </proxy>

Then saved and imported back.

I'm using the forticlient 6.0.0.0067 (wich I believe is the latest.)

I'm certain of the VPN settings (it works on my laptop), and when manual setting up the proxy on my brower, I'm able to reach and login on the remote gateway.

Any though? Thank you so much in advance for any idea !

Kind Regards,

Lionel
