Proxy Portal redirection does not work
Hi all,
i have a Fortigate 200D with Firmware 5.2.5.
My goal is to give the access from external to an application published on an internal http page.
I can succesfully access to the portal, so credentials are OK, but when i click on the bookmark i get the following error:
SSL VPN PROXY ERROR
The proxy server could not handle the request GET/Proxy/http/x.x.x.x....
Reason: Access denied
Looking at the VPN Logs i see these messages:
Action: SSl WEB Deny
Log Description: SSL VPN Deny
Message: SSL Web Application Blocked
Reason: http
I have tried both with http and https, moving the application on SSL.
Any idea?
thanks in advance

Hi Agianna:
Can you post your fix? i'm having the same issue, and I don't see anything in the SSL portal configuration that should be stopping me.
Thanks,

This is old thread, but posting my resolution as it may help someone since the OP decided to not post it.
I am new to Fortinet, used this article to setup remote access > https://cookbook.fortinet.com/ssl-vpn-using-web-tunnel-mode-56/
Was able to launch Forticlient and got the IP address (from pool) to my PC, but was not able to launch the ISFW. Was presented with the same error.
You will need to add a policy that will allow "Remote-VPN-User" to access the Management interface of the firewall. This should resolve the issue.
HTH.
Regards,
Sameer
