Problems with SMTP/POP filters

Recenlty I' ve been experiencing alot of troubles with FG 50A' s when scanning incoming/outgoing SMTP and pop emails for AV etc. Has anyone esle had problems. I' ve been getting problems where SMTP email is not being received consistently; only when I turn off the protection profile, does the email flow smoothly, same for outgoing SMTP mail. I have pop accounts having trouble receiving attachments. This is a pretty recent problem. Any body else experiencing similar problem?
