Problem with windows 7 and outlook 2010

Hi! I have installed the latest version of Forticlient end security and ssl vpn on a windows 7 pro. During installation process i only choose to install ipsec vpn and unselect all other services. We have done this on several other machines with success but this one doesnt apply. The installation and the import of the vpl file works great and i can connect and ping other machines in the network. The problem is that i cannot for some reason click on " send new mail" in outlook 2010 because then outlook hangs, if i uninstall Forticlient services it works fine. I also cannot surfing the web through IE 8 but i have internet access in my connection and i am connected to the intranet server (SBS 2003). Like i said, we have Forticlient on other windows 7 machines and they work fine. But i noticed that on this installation Fortiscan is running but not on the others...what is Fortiscan and could that be the problem perhaps?

Im using FortiClient, with Outlook 2010 and Exchange 2010, and i dont have these problems, maybe there is a third software causing this in combination with forticlient ?

What version of Forticlient are you using and how does your installation of it look like (what services have you installed).

you were right selective. Since this was a brand new preinstalled computer from Dell it came with a preinstalled security software. When i removed that it worked great. So now i am going to install our central security software!
