Prevent uninstallation of FortiClient on mobile users.

Does anyone know how to control uninstallation of FortiClient for android devices on FortiClient EMS?

Is it doable?

Hi,

Already check it. Our goal is to prevent the mobile user to uninstall the FortiClient, but even if the device is connected to telemetry and to the vpn, the user can still uninstall the application.

To prevent uninstallation of FortiClient on mobile users, you can try the following steps:
1. In FortiClient EMS, go to Endpoint Profiles > System Settings.
2. Select the desired profile.
3. Under UI, enable "Require Password to Disconnect from EMS."
4. In the Password field, enter the desired password.
5. Enable "Allow endpoint admin to disconnect without a password."
6. Click Save.

Already done this, nothing happens. Though on windows and ubuntu, we can disable the uninstall option.

You need to first disconnect FortiClient from the EMS (if you use EMS), then go to Settings -> Unlock settings. Then the uninstall options shouldn't be grayed out anymore. This is most likely a security measure to prevent regular users or malware from uninstalling it https://vidmate.bid/ .

Even if we dont disconnect to EMS, we can uninstall it. Should be not.
