Hi!
I am a bit confused about the performance guidelines in the current product matrix.
Threat Protection Throughput:
Fortigate 600E: 7 Gbps
Fortigate 2000E: 5.4 Gbps
Fortigate 2500E: 5.4 Gbps
--> 600E is faster than 2500E, which costs 6 times more.
Did you see these values in your setups, or is there a fault in the product matrix?
Thank you and best wishes,
Stril
Looking at more fuller specs between the 500E and 2500E, TPT (and SSL-VPN Throughput) is just about the only metric where the 600E beats the 2500E. I can only assume the difference is the hardware driving the ports on each model.

Hi!
Yes, but FG 2500E should be a beast compared to the mid-size 600E.
I can understand, that E-series models do sometimes outperform higher D-series models, but here, 600E does just not fit. The IPS-performance of the devices above 600E is not very high.
