Password does not change on FAP210B

HI , Did anyone encountered this issue? I have firmware FortiAP-210B v5.0,build064,140117 . The default password is blank. When I change the password, I let the old password field blank and enter the new password in the other two fields. Then I click apply. I also click apply on homepage. But when I logout and try to log in again, I cannot enter neither default nor the new password.

try the following commands on your FortiGate which controls the FortiAPs: config wire wtp edit [YOUR_FORTIAP_ID] set login-passwd-change yes set login-passwd [YOUR_PASSWORD] end end

FWF60D x2 FWF60C x3 FGT80C rev.2 FGT200B-POE FAP220B x3 FAP221B x2

Thank you for your reply. I tried entering the commands on the fortiwifi. But the real issue was that when I set the password on the FortiAP, it accepts min 5 characters and maximum 8 characters. I was entering 9 characters, that is why it does not allow me to login when I change the password.
