For the last several days we get the attached error when we try to go online in the morning. Only resolve is to reboot the FortiGate and all is back to normal. Anybody knows what the cause is?

Welcome to the forums. Some background may help... What model unit? What firmware level? Have any changes been made recently? What' s the load on the unit? WAN pipe size?

rebooting is not the solution, try to establish what is going on via the console cable or ssh / CLI check for conserve mode: diag hardware sys shm and see if the unit is accepting the traffic dia deb enable dia deb flow filter saddr <your source ip> dia deb flow filter port 80 dia deb flow show console enable dia deb flow show funct enable dia deb flow trace start 100 then reconnect again to google. Cheers, Eric

In case you see conserve mode issues on your status screen, you should configure the box to AV fail-open, to avoid loss of connectivity.
