Good morning friends.
In the Fortigate firewall I see that the log and report "summary" option is blocked.
According to the knowledge base https://community.fortinet.com/t5/FortiGate/Troubleshooting-Tip-System-Event-Summary-is-disabled/ta-..., this is resolved by enabling some options from Logging and Reporting -> Logging Settings. However, when I accessed that option, I did not find the "Enable fortiview history" option.
My question is, to enable this option, do I need to have a FAZ license? or fortigate cloud?

So there's nothing to do now? The "summary" option will always be disabled on the fortigate . correct?
my FG is a 60E model
Unfortunately, 60E doesn't have internal storage. Hence, disk logging is not available. You can check 60E datasheets for more information.
Regards,
Regards,
But having the "memory" option enabled is not the same?
thank you. I was looking for the 60E datasheet, I would understand that this is what you indicate. https://brasiline.com.br/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/FortiGate_FortiWiFi_60E_Series-1.pdf
We have 1100Es and summary tab is disabled in those firewalls as well. We are running on 7.2.11. We were able to see summary logs in earlier version. any idea?
Activate the the Fortigate Cloud in the Fortiguard Menu. The summary should show.
Summary TAB is enabled now. Not sure what was the reason of summary tab greyed out. After few days it started working automatically.
It will be disabled after 7.4 if there is no internal disk.
