i have  old device 800c with  Firmware Version v4.0,build0656,130211 (MR3 Patch 12)

I want to ask

1.  how to set Gateway Failure (Recovery) Actions for Link Health Monitor  ( 2 isp , wan 1  & wan 2 )

2.  is it possible upgrade firmware  to  v5 or v6 ?  please suggest

Regarding your 2nd question,

The latest possible FortiOS on FG 800C is 5.6.14.

But you need to have a valid support contract, which I guess is not the case.

Nevertheless I'd suggest to check with your local Fortinet account manager or local Fortinet partner if they can help in such case.

yes,  for this device ,  i dont have valid contract. 

so that why , i  try  my self  , manual upload  firmware file  ,  but    access denied  .

For the first question, what do you mean by action if not removing/adding default route?

Unfortunately I don't have FOS 4 in my lab.

Can you try search in CLI where this config is and then check what are the possible parameters?
