Hello ,
I have a 60D with 2 active OSPF neighbors to 2 other routers . working in main & backup mode over L2 VPLS. If I shutdown the link to the router with the MAIN ospf neighbore , routing monitor on the 60D is updating to the Backup as it shuld. When returning the Main back to Active , routing monitor on the 60D is not updating and the traffic is steel sent to the backup. It never comes back to the main neighbore until I shut and no shut the backup link .
any Idea ?
Hello,
you should check (and may be share) the OSPF neighbors and OSPF routes in the different scenarios.
active/backup
get router info ospf neighbor
get router info ospf route
get router info routing database
active (down)
get router info ospf status
get router info ospf neighbor
get router info ospf route
get router info routing database
get router info ospf database
active (up)
get router info ospf status
get router info ospf interface
get router info ospf neighbor
get router info ospf route
get router info ospf database
get router info routing database
Best regards,
Benoit
Welcome to the forums
Perhaps add a cost to the backup link so that it will be farther when the main comes back online.
