OID for network bandwidth usage

we are trying the network bandwidth usage for specific interface using SNMP v3 in below routers:

Model

Firmware

FortiGate1200D

6.4.11

FortiGate1801F

6.4.11

We found in the documentation this OID : 1.3.6.1.4.1.12356.101.13.2.1.1.5.

Does this OID returns network bandwidth usage for all interfaces together or to specific interface for both routers?

Hello,

Can you try SNMP OIDs below:

1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.10.<interface index> (Download)

1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.16.<interface index> (Upload)

Hello,

We tried below OIDs but it seems they are returning the traffic count in bytes . We want to retrieve the actual bandwidth usage in kbps? Please advise?

1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.10.<interface index> (Download)

1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.16.<interface index> (Upload)

SNMP data values are usually returned in base values, which are the raw numerical values that the devices report. These values are not easy for humans to read, so the monitoring system perform calculations and formatting to make the data more human-readable and meaningful. The specific calculations and formatting performed by the monitoring system depend on the system's configuration and the requirements of the environment in which it is being used.

Try get traffic count in bytes every minute, calculate the delta then divide by 60.
