You are my last hope as I tried myself on exploring more on this!!.. Appreciate your help in advance!!
Issue: Not able to create SSLVPN connection with Fortigate Firewall deployed on a cloud!! VPN connection is failing while trying to connect from my desktop machine to Firewall located in the cloud!!. Below is the sample topology(including IP addresses) I am trying acheive!!
Product Model: Fortigate VM KVM -6.4.0
I used the below for SSL VPN configuration as reference:
After I configured everything I tried reaching other known public ips where those are not reachable. I am not sure what i missed.
Things to Note:
1. Internet is not working from the WAN public IP configured
2.Through remote local IP from internal LAN, I am able to connect SSL VPN using Forticlient software(while testing).
3. The public IP with custom port number(like 10443, 4433 etc) is not opening but remote local IP is working with custom port(while testing).
4. Properly configured the Forticlient software.
5. Configured everything manually using GUI, not through CLI
6.I configured the firewall to allow my local machine.(added in the whilelist)
Please help to resolve the issue.
