Hi,
This query is related to DHCP.
I configured the DHCP lease time to 7 days, and everything is functioning correctly overall. However, a few users encountered an issue where they received an IP from DHCP but were unable to access the internet. Releasing and renewing the IP resolved the problem.
Upon investigation, I discovered a known issue (Bug ID: 1069208) in v7.4.7 related to DHCP.
Bug ID: 1069208 indicates that if a DHCP offer contains padding while using a DHCP relay, the relay removes the padding before forwarding the packet.
Please confirm whether this bug is related to the issue we are facing.

hi,
it maybe the case that you hit that bug, if your FGT acts as a relay and not the server itself that assigns ip to users.
how is the issue manifesting? do they get a valid ip/dns/gateway ? does ping towards 8.8.8.8 work or is it more a dns issue where they cannot resolve hostname into an ip ?
have you done any tshoot while this is happening or can you reproduce the issue ?
Hi @robinh007 ,
You did not provide your FGT config and your DHCP config on FGT, we can't confirm it for you.
If you are not using DHCP relay + offering padding, no, you are not hitting this bug.
