Hello.
I have launched the EMS server.
Test users are logging in and everything is OK.
The problem is as follows: after preparing the VPN client distribution, the system sends an email
to recipients inviting them to download the client and register in EMS.
The issue is that when clicking the link to download ie. Windows FC [https://myserver.com/installers/default/VPN-Client/FortiClientSetup_7.4.4_x64.exe]
the page displays Not Found. The requested resource was not found on this server.
The registration link works, the client retrieves the settings and registers in EMS.
The problem occurs even in Deployment & Installers. When clicking the download link, it does not download but instead shows the message: Not Found . The requested resource was not found on this server.
What should be done to enable the download?
Thank you for your help.
hi,
does EMS have internet access in order to download FCT components ?
if so, usually it takes a while to completely make available the installers.
L.E. if you are running EMS on a VM with Ubuntu ( not the VM appliance ) then the installers should be present in /opt/forticlientems/data/clients/installers/default/<>
I have deployed FortiClient Endpoint Management Server.
It is running as a virtual machine on Hyper‑V and has internet access.
I cannot access the EMS system shell directly because it is not a pure Linux environment.
have a read https://community.fortinet.com/t5/Support-Forum/EMS-server-not-creating-download-links-for-forticlie... maybe it will help

I’ve set all of this up. I received a response from support.
"I'm planning to report this to the backend team. Before that, could you please synchronise your license within the EMS Console or upload the license file and then try again? EMS> Dashboard> Config Licence"
I’m still waiting for EMS to be improved in this regard.
