No Transparent Web Proxy usage in FortiView

Hello!

I've configured my Fortigate 300E to be Transparent Web Proxy as described in this recipe: https://cookbook.fortinet.com/transparent-web-proxy-56/

Got test VM with Ubuntu 18 which I used to test this web proxy and everything goes fine (traffic is flowing, youtube is working)  except that I can't see any signs of policy etc. usage in FortiView, I'm just having 'now' button and no chance to select other period. I've 300E without HDD and logs stored in memory.

What do I need to be able to use FortiView - install HDD, buy FortiAnalyzer or send logs to SysLog ?

Without Disk, FortiView can not show up history traffic data.

But you can see realtime fortiview data.

FG-301E have disk.

How about using FortiCloud instead? Although the default (free) service is limited to 1GB(?) or last 7 days, whichever comes first, would it allow users to get full Fortiview?

FortiCloud focus on log .

FortiView can list realtime/history session/application inforamtion.
