Moving our office from a pfSense router to a FortiGate 60E. So far so good, however I can't seem to figure out how to get the DHCP server to register the device hostnames with the fortigate DNS server.
Resolving internal hostnames works fine as long as the A records are added manually to the DNS database, but it would be nice if records were added as DHCP leases are handed out. Is this possible with FG?

I think I found the answer to this, and it's that FortiOS doesn't support this. I ended up setting up a BIND server and enabling ddns updates - seems to work so far!
