Hi
I would like to request new feature .
I would like to have Automatic FortiManger assigned to Fortigate Units .
The idea to use very simple mechanism mostly already exist .
1- Add new editable field to Fortigate Asset registration on support site
Filed will be FortiManager hostname / ip
2- When new "virgin" Fortigate unit connect to the network and sign on fortigate support site
( this is already done ) have the unit Autoupdate its FortiManager info .
3- Now we can add unit manually to Fortimanager ( or even better let Fortimanager update from site )
This is very helpful for remote Site management , New installations , RMA replacements , Etc .
Hope you will find this helpful
Thanks

Hi Kingcrimson,
This feature was already implemented in FOS 5.4 through FortiCloud. This was called as "Forti-Deploy". What you need to do are:
1. pre-import FGT device key (could be found either in box or on FGT tag) into FortiCloud
2. in FortiCloud, deploy this FGT to a configured FortiManager IP/FQDN
3. boot up FGT. When the unit is boot up, it will automatically connect to FortiCloud and get that FMG IP.
Thanks,
