Hi Experts
I am putting up a startup podcast streaming business and looking to secure and manage/shape bandwith of my network giving traffic priority to STUDIO VLAN to streaming server in the cloud. Currently running with 5 staff all workstation connected wirelessly to ISP wifi router. Im looking to segment my network into three.
- Studio VLAN- all streaming devices will be connected to this vlan
- Workstation VLAN - all employee's laptop are connected wirelessly
- Guest VLAN - Guest wifi access with no access to internal network
Appreciate if you could point me with the correct solution (features to enable in Fortinet and switche, Fortinet NGFirewall device model, and Fortiswitch)
Thanks/JZ

Hello JZ,
You can specify bandwidth for a particular source IP range or interface by configuring a traffic shaping policy.
Please click on below link and reference document.

You can also apply shaper in firewall policy

thanks tpatel.
Currently, i only have the ISP wifi router in place and staff is connecting to it through wifi. Im looking to connect my ISP home router to Fortigate FW if possible, then Fortigate to switch. CAn you please advise a NGFW model for small business that suits my requirements.
Thanks .JZ
