Network Error when connecting to VPN from Mac

Our mac users reported issue connecting to VPN sometimes since we enabled two factor authentication using FortiAuth.  Error message "Network error. Can not connect to VPN server." All our mac users are using stable ver. 7.0.3.0131. I also updated one of the mac to latest ver. 7.0.7.0245 which also gives the same error. 

Is there anyway to resolve this issue.

This is the feedback from one of our mac user who tried to connect Forticlient VPN.

• I entered my credentials and pressed enter.
• It showed the Network Error pop up (no token was asked).
• I closed the pop up and waited roughly 20 seconds.
• I entered my credentials and pressed enter.
• It opened the token pop up and I received push notification on my phone.
• I accepted the notification on my phone.
• The token pop up was closed automatically.
• However, instead of connecting, it went back to the credentials form.

Can you try connecting using IP address instead of host name? I had similar issues in the past and this worked.
