Network Discovery-Fortigate 100F

I have a FG 100F with multiple vlans and DHCP is currently configured as well. The IT person is stating that when he tries to search PC's via "Network" none of the PC's populate. On his old LAN which consisted of a Cisco ASA he was able to browse PC's.

Any thoughts of what could be causing this?

Probably some related traffic is denied on the FortiGate.

I don't know the services that should be opened on the FortiGate so you can search the PCs, but you can have a look in the FGT's traffic log to see which traffic is blocked when you try to search for the PCs.

In case the PCs are on the same VLAN, FortiGate cannot block the traffic. Keep in mind that the firewall can only block the traffic that is going through it
