Hi,
Trying to create/work on a physical link and a VLAN under it, but the connection is Down with red arrow down always.
Looking at the hardware device nic information, the following is the output:
# diag hardware deviceinfo nic port3
Admin :up
netdev status :down
.....
link_status :Down
I already checked the cable and LED lights. Anything else which I need to look into?
Thank you!
What is your FGT model? Is it a regular RJ45 for your port3?
Do you have any interface up now? If yes, switch the cable to port3, what does it look like?
If port3 is connecting to a switch, what is port3's speed/duplex setting? And what is the speed/duplex setting for the peer?
FG-60F, yes just the regular RJ45.
Are you sure? My 60F doesn't have "port3" but has "internal3".
Toshi

Try with a known working cable first.
If you are sure about the cable, please check the speed/duplex settings on both peers. It's better to set "auto" on both for a try.
