Need Advice - use SD WAN or traditional method for connection

Hi there,

I plan to implement Fortigate from fresh.

we've 3 ISP,

ISP_1 provide static IP,

ISP_2 provide dynamic IP,

ISP_3 provide private IP.

ISP_1 and ISP_2 will be used for VPN (VPN SSL and IPSEC), private Internal Web, limited internet access (only certain host/computers that can use this link for internet access).

ISP_3 will be used for internet public access.

if possible, I wanna set:

when ISP_1 down, it will use ISP_2, but not vice versa.

what is the best way to set up this?

I use Fortigate 60F, with version 7.0.X.

thank you

hi,

Either methods could achieve required solution, however one may prefer SDWan over traditional methods for easier management, application steering, future upscaling, etc.

Best regards,

Jin
