Moving Fortigate VM Evaluation Licence to a new machine.

Trying to move my Fortigate VM, from a old machine, to a newer one. How do i activate the same trial license that was in use on the old, onto the new ?

Got it fixed.
i logged into Forticloud>Asset Management and decommissioned it from there.
I then went  back into the FortiGate VM and  requested the licence from the CMD line:

execute vm-license-options account-id xxxx@fortinet.com

execute vm-license-options account-password xxxxxxx

execute vm-license

Hello @Tobymeh ,

You just need to log in with the FortiCloud account on new deployed Fortigate.

FortiCloud moves the license automatically. You can use just one eval license with an account. Because of that, when you enter the FortiCloud account into a new unit, the old unit is deactivated.

Or you can create one more FortiCloud account and you can activate a new unit with this account.
