Does anybody know if there is a way to move a computer to a new group through a script after FortiEDR is installed? We have a main image for deployment that we want to include the collector in and then move it to the group once the OU is determined. We also have a ton of existing installations that we would like to organize into groups the same way.

Hello Polybius,
Great question. We don't think this is possible, but as far as I know, as we haven't tested it.
Additionally, I'm afraid we don't fully understand your request: if you know the device name and the OU, can you not move it there from the management console?
As far as I know, you don't need to move groups via script. (If I got question right)
You can request install package with group selected
Administration > Licensing > Request Collector Installer
for example request 1 install package for server group,
after you download you can name it setup servers_agent for instance.
once you install agent on servers, their collectors will directly get assigned to servers group on management console
same for clients etc I have 5 different installer package for 5 different groups
