I am using FortiClient to connect to a VPN that requires a token for authentication. This works well only the first day (or before the first reboot), next day it doesn't show the popup to enter the token. I also noted that it stops showing system notifications. I have to reinstall FortiClient every day to make it work. I am using Xubuntu, but tried on Windows as well and something similar happens, it stops showing the token field.

What version of FortiClient?
Have you spoken to TAC?
My version of FortiClient VPN is 7.0.7.0246
I'm sorry, I don't know who is TAC.
Hey Andresvo,
Could you please explain what is your FGT, and FClient firmware version?
- What kind of VPN do you adjusted?
- Do you use FTK or other third party 2FA with remote radius server configured on FGT?
Depends on config, we can execute debug and gather logs for troubleshooting.
Hi @akanibek ,
I don't have more details about the VPN, only the remote gateway, port and my credentials.
This is the popup for 2FA token:
Thanks
Andrés
What is the SMTP using for Fortigate to send out Token?
Andrés,
unfortunately without logs we can not do anything. Please, then contact to your network administrators.
Does the VPN connect without the token or it fails?
