Has anyone ever had issues with FortiGate misidentifying applications?
Within our reports we have seen VPN applications (Not just Psiphon) identified however, upon further inspection this traffic is from devices which do not have any VPN software installed and all traffic is to Microsoft owned IP addresses.
Inherently, this is not an issue however from a reporting perspective applications that are not in use are being displayed and it is for that reason I would like to understand what is happening and how to resolve.
My firewall is a FG60F currently running v7.2.5 with full ssl-inspection enabled.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be great.
