Milan Highend AV support, AVB IEEE standards

Hi All,

Our conference sites are starting to look into upgrading older equipment and move towards new, modern, protocols for audio and video. We actually just got 4x 1024E & 2x 1048E with 100G backbone to replace the core switches in one location.
In this location, they have Meyer Sound equipoment that use AVNU's Milan/AVB protocols, and they say the switched need special - certified - support for this.
I can't seem to find details for this for FortiSwitches, can anyone help with information about this?

  1. IEEE 802.1BA-2011 – Audio Video Bridging
  2. IEEE 802.1Q-2014 – Bridge and Bridged Networks
  3. IEEE 802.1AS-2011 – Timing and Synchronization for Time Sensitive Applications
  4. IEEE 1722-2016 – Transport Protocol for Time-Sensitive Applications in Bridged Local Area Networks
  5. IEEE 1722.1-2021 – Device Discovery, Connection Management, and Control Protocol for IEEE 1722(TM) Based Devices

Hope we don't need to buy Netgear.. ;)
