Migrating VLANS from Core switch to Fortinet 600F
We are in the process of migrating our VLANs from our core switch to our Fortinet 600Fs, While most aspects of the migration have been successful, we are experiencing difficulties with the integration to our mobility controller, where all our wireless access points are managed. has anyone else experienced the same issue?

What difficulty exactly? Did you clear arp on the wireless controller? What is the wireless?

We have an Aruba mobility controller its management interface is VLAN 99 our fortinets are also on the 99. our issue is that traffic is not passing through our controller not allowing our WAPs to communicate properly. every time we shut the vlan on the core and open it on the fortinet the only thing that goes down are the WAPs associated to it respected VLAN.

Here are some points that you may check.
- Check the related VLANs are properly propagated
- Check in the traffic logs if there is any related traffic blocked by the firewall (enable all traffic log and denied traffic log so you can see it)
- Maybe there was a DHCP relay on the core switch that you forgot to setup on your FortiGate?

Yup sounds like an ARP issue. I would clear ARP or reboot the Aruba Mobility Controller.
