Microsoft Remote Desktop doesn't connect thru Forticlient macOS

Hi All,

Our company uses forticlient to connect to the company's network to work remote.

on MacBook Pro 2015 with Catalina we are able to connect with FortiClient VPN 7.0.7 to the company's network. but Microsoft Remote Desktop doesnt connect to the remote PC. we get an error.

We couldn't connect to the remote PC because the PC can't be found. Please provide the fully-qualified name or the IP address of the remote PC, and then try again. Error code: 0x104

How can we fix this? any help?

Are you trying to connect to the PC with FQDN or IP address?  While on the VPN can you:

- resolve the FQDN properly

- ping the host

- traceroute to the host to see where it dies
