Message ID Field in log

Hi Everyone!

I have a problem with Message ID value between FortiWeb and FortiAnalyzer because they are different for a same request. for example:

WAF Message ID --008530284952
FAZ Message ID --8530284954

WAF Firmware: 7.04,build0124(GA),221122

On the other hand, another waf with different Firmware, They are same.

WAF Message ID --001196466142
FAZ Message ID --1196466142

WAF Firmware: 7.24,build0369(GA),230714

is it a bug for that Firmware or misconfig ??

Hello Sintara,

As per your description, it seems like an unwanted behavior / bug as it's giving different results with different versions, I tried to check known issues but there seems to be none pointing towards it, It's better you raise a technical support case for the issue.
