Hey Everyone,
Does anyone know how long an Active-Passive cluster member can be offline for before it will fail to rejoin the cluster when it comes back online? Both units are still the same firmware version etc. and we have 1 unit in each of our DCs. One of our DCs is going down for a long period of time for about 3 months, but I can't find any KBs that say if there is a duration before it will fail to rejoin.
Cheers
Rowan.
I don't think any time limit that your re-attempt would fail. It's just the same when you configured HA one side but didn't add a secondary unit and a couple of years later you finally got the secondary unit to add. At that time, it should sync as soon as they see each other.
Toshi
Hi @rowanziegler ,
FGT HA cluster can have only one member as long as can. There is no time limit for the duration.
However, please keep it in mind, when you have only one member in the cluster, it is actually NOT an HA.
