I know you can manage FortiAP's for free, but I am finding conflicting information on whether or not you can manage a Fortiswitch for free.
From what I can find you either have to pay for a license to manage a Fortiswitch or you can manage 1 Fortiswitch for free.
If anyone can clarify which is actually true, I would appreciate it.

Hello kylehouk,
I found this solution. Can you tell me if it helped, please?
To manage FortiSwitches using FortiLAN Cloud, you can manage up to 3 switches for free under the Freemium model. However, if you need to manage more than 3 switches, a valid management license is required.
From what I have seen, the free tier of FortiEdge Cloud has a few limitations, so some FortiSwitch management features may not be fully available. It’s worth double-checking whether the functions you’re trying to use are actually included in the free plan. Also make sure your FortiSwitch and FortiEdge Cloud are running compatible firmware, mismatches there can cause unexpected issues. If you’ve already added the switch to the console, confirming the ports are authorised is another good step.
If you can share the firmware version and what error you’re hitting, it’ll be easier to narrow down the cause.
