Is it possible to make custom triggers or make changes to existing Automations->Trigger templates somehow? I've tried but the only thing that seems to be custom under Automatios is Actions, which is mainly to make a email notification.
The reason is because I have a FortiGate that is using 76-78% memory consumption on average, and this one Gate is giving a lot of: System performance statistics = HIGH events, and I would like to minimize this by raising the event handler to maybe 80% memory consumption instead, is this possible in Fortigate Cloud?

Hi Remyt, I got an answer for you, let me know if it's useful:
In FortiGate, you can create custom dynamic automation triggers, but static triggers cannot be deleted or fundamentally altered. However, you can adjust the thresholds for memory usage to manage when certain triggers are activated. Here's how you can adjust the memory usage thresholds:
1. Access the CLI: Use the CLI to adjust the memory usage thresholds.
2. Configure Memory Usage Thresholds: Enter the following commands to set the memory usage thresholds:
shell config system global set memory-use-threshold-red <percent> end
Replace '<percent>' with the desired threshold, such as 80, to trigger actions when memory usage reaches this level.
3. Create a Custom Automation Stitch: To create a custom automation stitch for high memory usage, follow these steps:
Thanks for the answer, but this does not solve my question, and this is for FortiGate Cloud.
I did check out that command but that is set to 88, and this event hits at 75 memory use.
Isn't FortiSASE supposed to autoscale when there is too much load (cpu/memory)? Maybe what you are mentioning is related to that.
Maybe, but this is just FortiGate connected to FortiGate Cloud, there is automation templates in the FortiGate Cloud, but as of now they don't give any way of editing the parameters. You can add an email to receive alerts, but you have no way of customizing how or what the alert is about, so it's kinda an all or nothing kind of system.
Hoping that newer version of the FortiGate Cloud allow for greater customizing the automation.
Fortimanager has CLI templates CLI templates | FortiManager 7.6.3 | Fortinet Document Library so maybe this option could be used in the future. There is also Fortimanager cloud FortiCloud | FortiManager as FortiCloud on it's own is less powefull.
