In MacOS Big Sur I am unable to save the Configuration of FortiGate in the FortiClient.

Like to understand more about your issue. Kindly elaborate it.
Confirm which version of FortiClient and FortiGate you are using.
For MacOS X Big Sur, FortiClient 6.4.3 and above is supported.
If FortiClient is managed by FortiClient EMS, try pushing the configuration from it once and check.

Kindly let us know if you are using free version of forticlient or is it a licensed one?
Also is this forticlient managed by fortiEMS product?
