MGMT interface for HA Hartbeat
Hello,
Is it advisable to use MGMT port as one of the heartbeat interfaces for HA (on FGT-200F, for example)? I remember reading somewhere Fortinet recommending NOT to use MGMT interface for general traffic, but what about HA?
Cheers,

Hello NotMine,
Usually mgmt interface is used for dedicated Out of Band Management of the device.
However, if you like to use it as a backup heartbeat interface for HA, there is no harm in doing that.
you may go ahead and configure it and it will work just fine.

kinda sounds like you may have a hardware problem. You can try using the management interface as a test, also check the interface in the cli and the cli configuration.
